The body and mind work that I do are a combination of being profoundly personalized and custom to the individual I’m working with PLUS a bit of artistic improvisation based on my own experiences of working between the mind and body.

Presently I offer a few options that I practice out of my pure intuition fused with your agency; however, my work equally involves building around your own personal intuition of what you want to work on.

  • Sensate Focus: Great for people with trauma, in order to build up our ability to point and sustain our attention, particularly upon the signals from the body and spirit, I have been practicing sensate focus. For me, sensate focus is a rebellion against American productivism. It is a mindfulness practice of the body where you get as relaxed as you possibly can and then make incredible small stimulations upon yourself (or by another person). You then meditation (aka point attention at) that sensation, enveloping your mind around that sensation. We can work together to create a sensate focus session that works best for you.

  • Non-Productive Body Movement: This is a practice of just moving around your body with incredible slow, non-orchestrated, non-productive movements that you choose and you observe. We would do this together in an environment where you’d be encouraged to talk about what’s coming up for you in your mind and what you’re noticing in your body.
